Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
1. Overview
These terms govern your use of SpringCode's website, products, and services. By using our services, you agree to these terms. SpringCode provides code audits, security scans, and custom development services for software applications.
2. Services
Self-serve products (security scans, code audits, bundles) are delivered digitally as reports. Reports are generated based on automated analysis and professional review of your application or source code.
Custom services (development work, security reviews, deployment) are scoped on a per-project basis. We provide a timeline and fixed quote before starting work. Custom service pricing is agreed upon before work begins.
3. Payments and refunds
Payments for self-serve products are processed by Stripe and are due at the time of purchase. Custom service payments are structured as agreed in your project scope.
If you are unsatisfied with a self-serve product, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a review. We will work to resolve your concerns or issue a refund at our discretion.
4. Code access and intellectual property
You retain full ownership of your source code and intellectual property. When you grant us repository access for audits or development work, we access your code solely to perform the requested service.
We do not claim ownership of any code we review, audit, or help you develop. Any code we write as part of custom development services becomes your property upon delivery and payment.
5. Confidentiality
We treat all code, business information, and project details shared with us as confidential. We will not share your code or proprietary information with third parties. We do not retain your source code after completing the service.
6. Limitation of liability
Our audits and scans identify issues based on our analysis at the time of review. We do not guarantee that our reports will catch every possible vulnerability or issue. Our services are advisory in nature — implementation of recommendations is your responsibility unless included in a custom service agreement.
SpringCode's total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Account and access
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your login with others or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
8. Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
