Security risks in Base44 apps
Base44 apps commonly lack server-side authorization checks — any authenticated user can potentially access or modify any other user's data if they know the resource ID. The generated API endpoints accept any authenticated request without verifying that the requester owns the resource. SQL queries may be unparameterized in exported code
How to fix them
Add server-side ownership checks to every API endpoint that accesses user-specific data — verify that the authenticated user ID matches the resource owner. Authentication and authorization
